About Us

Fly-by NUNES Limited is an independent Instrument Flight Procedure Design Service Provider (IFPDSP) specialising in procedure design, safeguarding and periodic review services for clients including Airports, Airlines, Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP), Aviation Consultancies and Private Charter companies.

We support our clients strategically in projects relating to Procedure Design, including airport safeguarding studies of the Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS), and offer independent procedure design consultancy and advice concerning airspace, procedures, wind-turbines and construction projects near to, or surrounding airports.

Our work complies with state regulations and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS), and follows the ICAO Instrument Flight Procedure Design Quality Assurance (QA) process as defined in ICAO Document 9906 Volume 1. All our designs follow an independent check, known as ground validation, as part of the ICAO Quality Assurance process.

We take key stakeholders into consideration to develop a total solution in the interests of all concerned, including Pilots, Air Traffic Control, Environmental Requirements (Noise and Emissions), and the local community. As an environmentally conscious organisation, we always look to design the most efficient and optimised flight paths using ground-based (if required), or space-based navigation aids.

Our designers are trained at the Air Navigation Institute (ANI) in Switzerland, which is a recognised and highly regarded Flight Procedure Design Training organisation, established by Beat Zimmermann; Civil Aviation Authorities around the world, approve designers who have attended the ANI.

If you are looking for assistance with any aspects of Instrument Flight Procedure Design, please contact us to arrange a discussion.
